قال د حسام بدراوي في بيان نشره من خلال صفحته الرسمية على الفيس بوك بخصوص أزمة الطائرة الروسية قال فيه:
لقد راجعت أحداث كوارث الطائرات المختلفة منذ حادث لوكيربي الذي اسقطت فيه طائرة أمريكية فوق أراضي اسكتلندية مرورا بأكبر الحوادث في ١١ سبتمبر في نيويورك الذي طارت فيه طائرات من مطارات أمريكية وتهشمت ومعها الالاف من المواطنين الامريكان فوق اراضي أمريكية ، وفي كل الأحداث عاقب الدول الكبري مرتكبي الحادث أو من يدعون او يظنون أنهم مرتكبو الحادث والدول التي تقف ورائهم، ولم أجد ان اسكتلندا او امريكا التي طارت الطائرات من مطاراتهم هم او أي من الدول التي حدثت الحوادث في اجوائها هم من يتم معاقبتهم اقتصاديا بسحب كل السواح من مدنهم .
إن ما يحدث معنا هو اجراءات مرتبة لها اهداف محددة ولا يمكن وصفها سوي بالدناءه. ان الاجراءات التي تتم مع مصر هي للضغط الاقتصادي والسياسي ويستدعي ذلك ان نقف كمصريين مع قيادة البلاد في هذه اللحظات الهامة لمواجهة هذه الحرب علي ٩٠ مليون انسان تعتبر السياحة من اهم مصادر اقتصادهم وفتح بيوت ارزاقهم.
قد اختلف مع حكومتي في الكثير ولكني اقف معها في الدفاع عن وطني وهذا وقت التضامن كتفا بكتف وليس التشفي ولا التشهير ولا الاختلاف. نحن مع مصر ياساده نحن مع الوطن وما أراه هو تعدي مرتب وممنهج علي اقتصاد وسمعة مصر.

I reviewed accidents and disasters of aircrafts since the Lockerbie incident in which the downed plane was an American one over the territory of a Scotland , passing through the most horrible accident in the 11 th of septemer , in New York , in which aircrafts flew from american airports known to be secured by American most sopgisticated security systems ,and smashed and killing thousands of American citizens over the territory of an American land .
In all events including the one over Okrane or the ghost one which disappeared , punishment was directed to those who made the crime or claimed or thought that they are the perpetrators of the incident and the countries that stand behind them. I did not find out that Scotland or America, from which the planes flew from their airports or any of the States of incidents occurred in their airspaces were being punished economically ordering tourists to be withdrawn from all of their cities.
What is happening with Egypt are measures that have specific objectives and can not be described except by Act of hostility . The criminals has announced their responsibility , (daesh) , which no one is sure of it, yet the measures, which are made against Egypt in this incident are mere of economic and political pressure for Egypt to kneel .
I am calling for Egyptians to stand with the country’s leadership in this important moment to confront this war against 90 million people for which Tourism is one of the most important sources of their economy and their livelihoods open houses. I may disagree with the governments in many issues , but I will stand with them in the defense of Egypt national solidarity . This is not the time for revenge or defamation nor difference it is the time of support.
