At the invitation of the Al-Safwa Cultural Salon in the valiant city of Port Said, headed by Professor Lucy Mandour, Professor Dr. Hossam Badrawi gave an important symposium entitled Shaping Awareness in the New Republic
The salon came in the presence of a large number of Port Said residents, and the participation of a large number of journalists, university professors, advisors, and members of the House of Representatives and Senate.
The salon started by showing a documentary about the biography of Dr. Badrawi, then the main session in which Dr. Badrawi spoke about defining the new republic and his book Dialogues with Youth in the New Republic, which preceded the declaration of the national dialogue on the new republic by a year. Dr. Badrawi presented 8 main pillars and pillars that must be established The new republic that cares about people and thought as well as constructions at the same time
Dr. Badrawi added that the change that took place in the Ministry of Education is promising and a new opportunity to achieve Egypt’s vision in education, which he oversaw in developing in 2013, which consists of 5 main pillars.
Pillar One: Education accessible to all, of high quality, without discrimination.
Pillar Two: The existence of an efficient, just and sustainable institutional framework for managing and governing the education, research and development process at the central level, down to the decentralized level in the governorates, and up to the management of schools.
The third pillar: the technological and digital empowerment of the pupil, the student, the teacher, and the teaching staff in the school and the university, and the development of means and methods of teaching, research and evaluation. This was proven by the health crisis and the closure of educational institutions.
Pillar Four: Building the integrated personality of the pupil and student in all its aspects so that he becomes a balanced citizen, who is proud of himself, enlightened, creative, proud of his country and its history, passionate about building its future, capable of difference and open to pluralism. Note that this cannot be done without culture, art, music and exercise.
The fifth pillar: that the graduate be an initiative, has the ability to adapt to the changes around him, create new job opportunities, and be able to compete with his peers at the local, regional, and global levels.
At the end of the meeting, an open discussion took place during which he answered the questions of the audience, who were keen to take memorial photos with His Excellency at the end of the meeting.
