Dr. Badrawi, Chairman of the Education First Advisory Committee, attends an important meeting with the Minister of Education

On Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Hossam Badrawi, Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Education First Foundation, attended an important meeting with the Minister of Education, Dr. Reda Hegazy, and representatives of 30 American universities for teacher affairs and training, in agreement with Dr. Salma Al-Bakry, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education First Foundation “Education First”, and balanced education, which leads with Dr. Mahmoud Hamza, Executive Director of the Foundation, this agreement.
The Board of Directors of Education “UCEA”, which is represented by the attendees, includes elite representatives of 120 American universities .. They discussed the Minister and Dr. Hossam and an elite group from the Ministry of Education and Art Education, including Mohamed Attia, Head of the Central Administration for Education with Expenses, Dr. Akram Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Curriculum Development, Dr. Sherine Hamdy, Advisor to the Minister for Administrative Development and Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office, and Dr. Rabab Zaidan, Director General of the Public Administration for educational leaders.
At the outset of the meeting, the Minister welcomed the attendees, expressing his happiness with this meeting, which aims to enhance the exchange of experiences, and affirm the Ministry’s welcome to all partnerships aimed at developing the educational process in Egypt. National security and that the ministry is working hard to implement a number of axes in light of Egypt’s Vision 2030
Dr. Hossam Badrawi’s speech came about the importance of civil society solidarity with the government and the influential role of civil society in supporting the ministry’s efforts to improve the educational process. He also stressed the need for Egypt’s Vision 2030 (which must change to Egypt’s Vision 2050) to be clear to all parties and to represent Egypt’s vision. In education, the general framework for all efforts made in developing the educational process so as not to deviate from the main goal, which is to achieve the vision
Dr. Salma Al-Bakry also expressed her gratitude for the efforts made to develop the pre-university education system in Egypt, pointing to the importance of the solidarity of all institutions concerned with education.
Then a discussion took place on the most important goals and axes that could represent the roadmap towards developing the educational system and fuel to support joint cooperation and intensify efforts to achieve them. In the end, the delegation of American universities expressed their happiness with this meeting, which deepens cooperation and positive reformist participation in upgrading the educational system.
