Dr. Badrawi inaugurates Orouba School in Imbaba in the presence of the Ministers of Education and Solidarity, the Governor of Cairo and the Deputy Ambassador of Japan
Dr. Hossam Badrawi, head of Takatof Association, Ministers of Education and Solidarity Tarek Shawky and Ghada Wali, Governor of Giza Major General Ahmed Rashid and Deputy Ambassador of Japan in Egypt inaugurated the Al-Orouba Primary School, which was developed by construction, equipment and training for teachers and students with funding from the Japanese people and the Takatof Association.
Al-Orouba School is the 25th school that Takatof handed over to the state. A school is handed over every seven months, and all of them are free schools for the lower-income classes.
The total cost of the school’s development work amounted to 6 million pounds, of which 4 million and 800,000 pounds were provided by the Japanese side, and 20% of the total cost was provided by a charitable association. The development work included furniture, equipment, structural development, capacity building programs for teachers, developmental and recreational programs for students and parents .

Hossam Badrawi stressed the importance of activating community participation and benefiting from it in community service and raising the efficiency of services provided to citizens, pointing out that the Orouba Primary School in Imbaba has become fully prepared to receive students in the second semester after its development.
