In continuation of my conversations with young people about thinking, and the dream of justice was one of its goals, which was raised in my mind by a book by a writer named Henry Todd entitled “Die Empty”, that is, do not take your thoughts to the grave, but rather bring them to the world of light, as they may benefit humanity.. I found me returning to the two professors Abbas Al-Akkad and Tawfiq Al-Hakim, and before them Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, as well as the sayings of my master, the best of God’s creation, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and above them the words of the Noble Qur’an about reason and thinking.
Professor Al-Akkad in his great book “Thinking is an Islamic Obligation” says: The obligation to think in the Holy Qur’an includes the human mind with all its contents, and it raises the virtue of contemplation to the highest level.
The Islamic religion is a religion that does not know fortune-telling, and the guardians and rabbis do not mediate between the creature and the Creator. The speech of this great religion – obviously – is only to a sane person who is free and free from every authority that prevents him from correct understanding and sound thinking.
The professor says: The greatest obstacles that hinder the mind are the worship of the ancestors, which is sometimes called custom, blind emulation of those with religious authority, and the humiliating fear of those with worldly authority.
Those who have written on the history of creeds almost agree on underestimating the danger of tyrannical rule on the human conscience by comparison to the danger of custom or the danger of deception by those who claim the priesthood in religions, because the tyrannical rule controls the conscience from without, and does not seduce it from its inside as the love of the ancestor or being carried away with deceptive role models. For those who claim religious knowledge that is revealed to them alone, it is a problem of a place, not a problem of the mind or conscience, and it is possible for a person to shake him out of his place or seek refuge in him from a safe place.
And God Almighty says: “And when it is said to them, ‘Follow what God has sent down,’ they say: Rather, we will follow what we found our forefathers accustomed to.”
Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, the city of knowledge and the banner of justice, considered the mind the origin of religion and the pillar of the world, and he said: “The head of virtues and the source of literature is the intellect that God Almighty made for religion as an origin and for the world as a pillar.”
He also says: “His tongue informs about the intellect of every person, and his eloquence is indicated by his statement.”
And from the wisdom of the imam: “Minds are not measured by ages… How many young people have a brilliant mind.. And how many are old people whose minds are empty.”
Professor Tawfiq Al-Hakim says in his book “The Four Ahadith” in the second hadith, talking to God in his conscience: There came in the Holy Qur’an a mention of your three religions and their heavenly books: the Torah, the Bible, and the Qur’an… Allow me, my Lord, to ask: Was it necessary that these three religions and books were revealed? ?
That must be wise!!… Why do I ask?
You have created the mind for me, and it is the most wonderful of your creatures. You created it to reflect on it in Your wisdom, and I have seen that a person develops from a fetus in the mother’s womb to a crawling newborn, then stands on his feet and walks, begins to speak and questions, enters childhood and his first perceptions grow in him, so his awareness increases. And his awareness of those around him, then the whole world and then the universe. He begins in his small community until he reaches the stage of youth, where passion and feelings develop, which produces a color of life in which his beauty and ideals, and then the stage of maturity in which the mind is completed and settled on its personality and makes its decisions.. In this order, wisdom may be in the gradation between the heavenly religions To suit human knowledge and the ability of their minds to absorb. Moses sent and revealed the Torah in the small community with its sectarian system and the doctrine of oneness that took place in the early youth of humanity with his material strength, and his desire for religion to be for him alone and his clan to the exclusion of the rest of mankind.. Then came the stage of humanity’s youth with emotions of love and ideals represented in the beautiful person of Christ Until God’s wisdom saw that it was time for humanity to mature and enter into full awareness, and with the desire to know the truth through reason and thinking, so he brought his Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, complete with life experiences, representing the maturity of humanity in all its elements. to me).
This is the stage in human life of the completion of the ability of the mind to think, which is the most amazing thing that God created.
The mind analyzes the nature of things and creatures, discovers what is around it, and rises to the realization of the existence of God through the mind and not by miracles.
I imagine that self-awareness by reason is the ability of man that God wanted for him, and by which he distinguishes him from the rest of his creation.
Reason and thinking is the miracle of creation in us. The case with the prophets who preceded him, and as the people asked him at the beginning of the message. They asked him for miracles, or to ascend to God, or to send down the book to them from Him. He replied, “Say, I am only a human being like you, it is revealed to me.”
“They will not believe in you until we fled us from the earth pounds (90) or you will have a paradise of palm and grapes, and the rivers will detonate during which he is bombing (91) or falling from the sky as they claimed, and you will come to God and the angels before you or you have a house of decoration Ascend into the sky, and we will not believe in your ascension until you send down a book to us that we read. Say, Glory be to my Lord, my Lord 9. “Surat Al-Isra’ 90-93”.
When humanity was in the stage of childhood, youth and youth, and it was not yet time to convince humans of the existence of God through intellectual awareness alone through the mind, the physical miracles were.
And the wise says: And I repeat: We are born in a complete coma from our minds, so everything moves within us with instincts, and is not complete.
