In his capacity as Chairman of Takatof Development Association, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Education First Society and founder of the Egyptian National Competitiveness Council, Dr. Hossam Badrawi met President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, members of the 15 largest NGOs in Egypt and Minister of Solidarity, Dr. Ghada Wali, the initiator of the initiative, to discuss what the NGOs would do for society in 2017.
Dr. Hossam presented an initiative in the education called Yalla Nkmel Ba3d “Let’s Complete Each Other” and explained it in the presence of ministers of education, health and housing.
It is true that Dr. Ghada Wali, with her true understanding of the great role of NGOs and respecting it, plays a special role in the protection of active NGOs and opens the horizons for cooperation with the State.
The President expressed his respect and appreciation to the Egyptian NGOs and their support for their role independent from the government, however supporting it.
These NGOs spent last year 155 bn pounds on aid and development from their resources and donations given by Egyptians.
