Dr. Hossam Badrawi celebrates the World Arabic Language Day

Yesterday, at the invitation of the Education First Foundation and its advisory board chairman, Dr. Hossam Badrawi, the International Day of the Arabic Language (December 18 of each year) was celebrated under the auspices of the Student’s Weapon Company, the day on which the United Nations recognized Arabic as an official language in its corridors. The celebration came within the activities of the conference “Digitizing the Letter Dad – Towards Mechanisms for Digital Transformation in Teaching the Arabic Language”, with the participation of four hundred Arabic language and social studies teachers from the governorates of Ismailia and Qalyubia and a number of international and private schools. During the Education First Forum for Arabic Studies, Professor Dr. Hossam Badrawi honored figures who contributed to spreading the Arabic language, headed by Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hudhud, former President of Al-Azhar University, the distinguished artist/Samira Abdel Aziz, and the writer Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hafez Nasef, Head of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces. The forum was attended by Dr. Akram Hassan, Assistant Minister for Curriculum Development Affairs, representing the Ministry of Education and Technical Education. Dr. Rima Al-Kurdi, founder of the Jana Reading Platform, also participated in the forum.
