Dr. Hossam Badrawi writes in Al-Masry Al-Youm: With whom does God speak?

The plane fell from its height into a deep turbulence, which lasted a second or two, at the age of an hour, and a day or two in the age of sensation.. How can all these events and memories pass through the mind in one second?
The passengers screamed, and some cried in panic and fear, and some laughed hysterically after the accident, and each mother held on to her child.
The moment ended, and silence prevailed, except for some calls, thank God.
I had a strange feeling, in the moment and beyond. I asked myself who is God talking to now?
In this second.
And when I asked the question, I imagined that God communicates with me directly, saying, I am closer to you than your jugular vein, I communicate with all of my creation, whether human or plant, animal, insect or even inanimate… And with his Creator, and endowed him with reason and will, so his communication with him is permanent and continuous. As for man, he opens communication with his Lord when desire, when fear and dread, when sick and complain, and the majority chose not to listen directly to God except through an intermediary even if his time has passed thousands of years ago.

Even the prayer that he imposed upon us, most of us understood it in form and not in substance. Most of them think that it is just an obligation, worship and a guide to obedience, and in fact it reminds him to communicate with him, the Almighty, because the line is open from his side all the time and we are the ones who need the ticket…
And I asked myself again, how does God speak, so that people can hear him…. It was sending messengers and prophets to speak about him and with us his time, which ended, but those who claimed these abilities followed their path. But after thinking. In depth, and by analyzing my personal experience in communication, I reached that God communicates with us through our feelings, thoughts and experiences in life and finally with words.. Words are limited by the letters of the language, any language, and can be interpreted with more than one meaning, and by situations, circumstances and time of saying them, but sensation is the language of the soul. and self.
Likewise, God communicates with ideas, and sometimes He gives us His messages with what comes to mind and what does not come to mind. They are messages from Him. Rather, He sometimes gives us visions of the future through imagination and the curiosity of knowledge that He has bestowed upon us, and flashes of intelligence that make us explore life, science and knowledge, which actually exist before its discovery, and we rise to the knowledge of the universe. And his Creator is better and deeper.
God also communicates with us through our experiences in life. Experience is the key to experience, and experience is the path of wisdom, and wisdom opens our eyes to God’s closeness to us, which we may not know or feel despite his constant communication with us.
The words come after feelings, thoughts and experience, because they are a means that can be misunderstood, reinterpreted, and even used for other than the goals of their words after they are cut off from the content of more comprehensive meanings.
Words may make us more understanding of something, but experience makes us more knowledgeable.
The strange thing is that over time we made only words our means of communicating with God, and we repeat the word of God and the word of God, and we speak our words in the name of God. You need to explain the words.
I wrote and read it to my family after returning, and my son said to me:
“Sometimes thoughts come to us and they may be evil, so how do we differentiate between them and the messages of God that God transmits to us and to us?”
I told him, “God’s messages contain joy, clarity, truth, love and justice. Evil is the absence of good, and God only creates good and says nothing but good.”
My daughter asked me, “Are there certain individuals who are able to communicate without others? Are there special times for communication?”
She replied:
“Many believe that God has special ways of communicating with humans and that only the privileged can choose them.
A question that people ask, rather they believe in this privacy, but I see that all people and every person is a special person, and there is no specific time for his communication with God.”
The privacy of God’s communication with specific individuals distances the majority of human beings from his responsibility to communicate with him, listen to his messages, and even push them to take what others say as an alternative. In this case, we have replaced our negative will, we have replaced God who does not stop communicating with every human being to listen to his messages through others.. We have invented an alternative and mediator for what is available to us directly from our Creator. We have decided that listening to others instead of listening to God Himself, He has sent us His book, and it communicates with each of us in his thoughts, experiences in life and his feelings, and we believe that we may make things easier for ourselves by relying on others in understanding and communication..

When you pray, in any form of prayer, it is a double path, from you and to you to communicate, and not a one-way path intended to worship, obey and perform the obligatory only. You as a person may need the ticket to communicate with God, but God communicates with you all the time, you just do not see or listen..

If every person understands that God personally sends his messages to him, then you have become responsible for translating and understanding them. This is safer for him in explaining what he hears than merely submitting to the interpretation of those who lived thousands of years before him.

Likewise, God changes his means and messages, even if they preserve their essence, because he is the maker of time, and knows how conditions change with the increase of knowledge and the depth of science, because in the end he is the owner of knowledge and knowledge, but he makes available from it what we can bear with our developing minds and our expanding knowledge. If we adhere to the interpretation of those who preceded us, it is as if we are denying the messages of God and His continuous communication with us.

A moment of fear, a moment of dread, and a second of time gave me the idea, the feeling, and the experience.

Thank you, Lord, for enlightening me

About Dr. Hossam Badrawi

Dr. Hossam Badrawi
He is a politician, intellect, and prominent physician. He is the former head of the Gynecology Department, Faculty of Medicine Cairo University. He conducted his post graduate studies from 1979 till 1981 in the United States. He was elected as a member of the Egyptian Parliament and chairman of the Education and Scientific Research Committee in the Parliament from 2000 till 2005. As a politician, Dr. Hossam Badrawi was known for his independent stances. His integrity won the consensus of all people from various political trends. During the era of former president Hosni Mubarak he was called The Rationalist in the National Democratic Party NDP because his political calls and demands were consistent to a great extent with calls for political and democratic reform in Egypt. He was against extending the state of emergency and objected to the National Democratic Party's unilateral constitutional amendments during the January 25, 2011 revolution. He played a very important political role when he defended, from the very first beginning of the revolution, the demonstrators' right to call for their demands. He called on the government to listen and respond to their demands. Consequently and due to Dr. Badrawi's popularity, Mubarak appointed him as the NDP Secretary General thus replacing the members of the Bureau of the Commission. During that time, Dr. Badrawi expressed his political opinion to Mubarak that he had to step down. He had to resign from the party after 5 days of his appointment on February 10 when he declared his political disagreement with the political leadership in dealing with the demonstrators who called for handing the power to the Muslim Brotherhood. Therefore, from the very first moment his stance was clear by rejecting a religion-based state which he considered as aiming to limit the Egyptians down to one trend. He considered deposed president Mohamed Morsi's decision to bring back the People's Assembly as a reinforcement of the US-supported dictatorship. He was among the first to denounce the incursion of Morsi's authority over the judicial authority, condemning the Brotherhood militias' blockade of the Supreme Constitutional Court. Dr. Hossam supported the Tamarod movement in its beginning and he declared that toppling the Brotherhood was a must and a pressing risk that had to be taken few months prior to the June 30 revolution and confirmed that the army would support the legitimacy given by the people
