Women …Origin of existence

Responding to a question from one of my patients about the link between society and women, I wrote:
In general, there is a prevailing masculine tendency in which women are blamed even if they are raped or their rights are violated. Particularly when discussing the relationship between men and women in the context of a society exposed to new waves of backwardness through violating this woman’s freedom through verbal harassment or a derogatory gaze, violating her body by mutilating her reproductive organs without her permission, forcing her into marriage at a young age and hiding her identity under the guise of protection and depriving her of her right to continue her married life by abolishing a law that grants her this right.
I found myself thinking and saying to myself: What is the link between our society and women other than a cultural and social paradox in which there is a collective split in personality, where the woman is revered and respected as a mother, and everyone boasts that Egypt is the Mother of the World, while the same society accuses her and violates her rights and wants to hide her from view because she is the mother of all evils in the view of a backward masculine mindset?
I thought about the fact that men came up with the idea that Adam’s expulsion from Paradise was because of Eve’s seduction of him, and the ancients used this to make her the cause of human misery.
I asked my educated cultured friend about this, doubting that Eve was the reason for the human expulsion from Paradise as taught in mythology and claimed by religious people in all religions because I found no reference to that in my mind or in the Quran.
My friend , she said: The human’s exit from Paradise and his descent to Earth was for the completeness of his creation, not as a punishment for a sin he committed. If he continued without practicing his power of choice, he would have been like the other creatures, and he would not have had the added value that God gave him. God asked the rest of his creation to bow down to him because He distinguished him with reason and the ability to choose even if he made a mistake. His creation was complete when he chose and made a mistake, so God sent him to Earth to complete what he was created for.
I said: This is a new approach that conflicts with the usual belief that Adam’s descent to Earth was punishment for his disobedience to God.
She said: This is the beauty of thinking and the expansion of its boundaries over time. For example, I read to you what you wrote about Mitochondria, and I did not know what it was, and I was amazed by your scientific approach in linking your appreciation of Eve as distinct from Adam, integrating it with your comprehensive social and cultural vision. Please explain it to me in simple terms.
I told her: The source of energy in every cell of trillions of cells in every human body is a nanometer-sized device called Mitochondria, and it is the only body in creation that is inherited only from the mother, not from both the mother and the father.
The mother is the origin and the source of energy for all humans, whether male or female … The woman is not only the origin of life but also the reason for its continuation to exist.
She said: And I add to what you mentioned that I researched, my dear, and I did not find the word Eve in the Quran at all, nor in the hadith that is classified as authentic. But I found that God created a soul, which is a feminine word, and created her mate, which is a word that is capable of being feminine and masculine. The word soul, mate, and Adam in the Quran is nothing but a scientific term for this dual being from which creation began, in a genetic evolution, it divided into two entities. “And God knows best.”
Perhaps, my friend, your knowledge of anatomy and genetics has some words that support or oppose this idea based on your reasoning and linguistic analysis.
I said: Linguistic analysis aligns with scientific interpretation, because if gonads are removed from the fetus at early stage , ie : fetus is born without ovaries or testes, it will be born female . Female is base of creation, and analysis by observation shows that it is the male who is born from the mother and not the man , so the source of human origin is the woman.
Regarding Egyptian women in particular, I find no better option than studying history to explain my vision. Egyptian women, whether mothers, farmers, workers, or housewives, have always been crucial in Egyptian families. When given the opportunity for education, they excelled and succeeded. When they led the country in our Pharaonic history, they inspired and led. When they married prophets like Abraham and Muhammad, they gave birth to the Arab patriarch Ishmael. And when they decided and protected, they saved Moses from death and prevented the Jews’ religion from non existence , as a Pharaoh’s wife embraced and fostered him.
In Egyptian women, there are genes of civilization and abilities that must be freed from the backwardness imposed on them by the isolation behind men.
In every historic event, Egyptian women have had a sustainable position. For example, there are two things that have stuck with me since my childhood about the 1919 revolution in Egypt: firstly, the marriage of the crescent and the cross, and secondly, the participation of Egyptian women with their voices, images, and impact.
There is also an image from the modern Egyptian revolution on June 30th 2013 , that is stuck in my mind, of Egyptian women standing alongside men, and their voices rising above men’s, demanding the freedom of their country from ideological colonization.
” women’s rights , life, freedom” – these are the slogans of current protest demonstrations in Iran, as they were in Egypt on 1919 & June 30th, with women’s voices also being present.
Hafez Ibrahim once said: “If you don’t safeguard your wealth with knowledge, it will end up in self-destruction. If you don’t adorn your knowledge with good qualities, it will lead to failure. . The failure of upbringing women means the failure of the society.
The mother is a school, and if she is prepared, she prepares an excellent nation.
The word “mother” contains a beauty that no other aspect of life can match, and nothing can be relied upon more than her , Paradise is under her feet.”
Egyptian women heads held high, sitting on the throne of Egypt next to its king, and when an Egyptian woman sat on the throne of Egypt by herself , “Queen Hatshepsut” ruled the Egyptian state for 21 years, making Egypt the greatest military power in the world and taking the Egyptian economy to an unprecedented level, as witnessed by her temple, which is considered a jewel for those searching for the greatness of Egypt.
Even when the Egyptian woman sang, she became the star of the East. She had the strongest vocal cords of any woman – Umm Kulthum-. She sang for love , and she sang for her country, traveling the world to collect money for her land with her voice, deserving respect and appreciation.
The Egyptian woman herself was the first to pilot a plane in Egypt, and again as a doctor, a nurse, a teacher, a scholar, an artist, and a writer she excelled.
A young woman of my students said to me in sadness: “But we, women, inherit only half of what men do, isn’t that a negative discrimination against us?”
I said: Women inherit half of what men get, however , they can save it all for themselves and not spend any of it, while the responsibility for all expenses lies with the man. Otherwise, he has no power over his family; the rights of men towards their families depend on their responsibility, which determines whether they exist or not. Men are the protectors of women if they use the wealth they possess to spend on her and there family , and this superiority is based on knowledge and understanding .so women are superior if they have knowledge and skills.
In inheritance, fathers can allocate the inheritance to their daughters according to my interpretation of the verses that men over history has manipulated in their masculine interpretation.
Another young man said, “So it is a competition between women and men over what is available in terms of provisions!!”
I said, “Rather, it is integration between humans to create new provisions and strength for society, to use their full potential and not just half of it.”
A young woman said, “But what really protects women in this time from male oppression or tyranny?”
I said, “Knowledge, knowledge, knowledge, and education.
Every family must arm their daughters with knowledge and education; there is no way to protect their rights without that.”
To all the women of Egypt,
to all the great women of Egypt,
the whole world bows to you in respect.
Your past is a civilization recorded in the first pages of history, and the greatness of your present is not missed by the onlookers.
Your beautiful existence shines a light on the future, so do not bow to the ignorance and narrow-mindedness of some.
