YOUM7 NEWSPAPER: DR. HOSSAM BADRAWI IS A MEMBER IN CAIRO UNIVERSITY NEW PRESIDENT SELECTION COMMITTEE

In today’s meeting, Cairo University Council decided to form the trilateral committee the for selecting the new president of Cairo University, which is determined to join the seven-member committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, which is formed to select university presidents.

Dr. Fathi Abbass, Advisor of the President of Cairo University, said in a press statement today that the committee included Prof. Hossam Badrawy, former head of department of obstetrics and gynecology at Cairo University, Dr. Ali Abdel Rahman, former Cairo University president and former Governor of Giza, Dr. Mofeed Shehab, Former President of Cairo University and Professor at Faculty of Law at Cairo University, and Dr. Adel Zayed, former Vice President of Cairo University, as a reserve member.

It is established that the committee will start its work to select the next president of Cairo University based on the rules approved by the Supreme Council of Universities in this regard. The new President of Cairo University is scheduled to receive his work duties in early August.
